Lauren comes from a family of Transportation Specialists and as such has grown up in the industry. She officially began her own career in the Supply Chain Industry in 2005. She learned the importance of accuracy through her position of being an Auditor at a Container Freight Station. From blanket permits, to bill of ladings, customs releases and delivery orders, she did it all!
After 4 years at the CFS warehouse, Lauren decided to go to the next level and moved to a new company working for a Customs House Brokerage firm. That is where she truly dove into handling Imports for many clients...
Communicating with overseas agents and seeing shipments through to delivery.
After excelling in this role, she quickly knew she wanted more, that’s when she accepted a position with Seaspace International Forwarders USA Inc. This move allowed her to still manage Imports for Air and Sea freight shipments, but also domestic trucking. Lauren expanded her skillset to include Air and Sea Exports.
Lauren has been with Seaspace since 2010 and has grown exponentially. While working at Seaspace she obtained her Customs Broker License in 2016 to expand her knowledge and understanding for customs releases and regulations. She now is well versed through all areas of freight forwarding. Lauren enjoys growth as it keeps her on her toes.
